Nikos Vlachogiannis was born at Pireus. He studied at the School of Fine Arts and is one of the few Greek painters who followed the great painters Iakovidis, Gyzis and Lytras. Admirer of the Munich School continues to create with a romantic mood in these classic forms.

Remarkable reviews have been published for his work in newspapers and magazines mainly abroad. His works are in private collections of classical art.
